PURPOSE OF GRANTS is to empower self sufficiency and foster greater independence
QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible for a grant from the Blanche Fischer Foundation, applicants must meet the following criteria:
*Permanent Physical Disability: The applicant must have a documented permanent physical disability.
*Demonstrable Financial Need: Our process carefully assesses an individual's position within the Federal Poverty Level. By aligning with this indicator, we aim to make a meaningful and positive impact on addressing authentic economic hardships.
*Current Oregon Residency: Applicants must be current residents of Oregon.

OUR GRANT PROCESS AND SUGGESTIONS
Year-Round Application Acceptance: We accept applications throughout the year. Keep in mind that submitting your application does not guarantee approval, as each request undergoes thorough evaluation.

Quarterly Review and Award Cycle: Our grant review process operates on a quarterly basis. Applications are carefully examined, and awards are determined periodically throughout the year.
Direct Payment to Vendors or Service Providers: Approved funds are disbursed directly to vendors or service providers, not to the applicants. This streamlined approach ensures that the assistance reaches the intended recipients efficiently.
Application Submission by Regular Mail or Email: Applications may be sent via regular mail or email. Express mail services do not expedite the grant process. Applications sent via email must be in pdf format.
