Independent Living Philosophy
The Independent Living Philosophy empowers people with disabilities to control their lives,make their own decisions, and live independently with appropriate support. This philosophy emphasizes self-determination, inclusion, andthe removal of barriers to societal participation. This means advocating for policies and practices that ensure equal opportunities and accessibility for individuals with permanent physical disabilities.
